These are some of the measures contained in the new Dpcm. The text, signed by the prime minister, will be presented at a press conference at 1.30 pm. The rules will be in effect from Monday, October 26 to November 24.
The formalization of the new anti-Covid rules should take place the same day with a press conference from the prime minister.
Among the new measures is the closure of public places at 6:00 p.m. However, on Sundays and holidays, the bars and restaurants can remain open. Some perplexities had arisen on this last point in yesterday’s meeting, which lasted late into the night. Weigh the opinion of the technical-scientific committee that would see in the Sunday opening of the premises a possible obstacle to family gatherings at home. Table consumption will be allowed for a maximum of four clients, unless all people live together.
However, home delivery is allowed for restaurants, complying with health and hygiene regulations, until midnight.
Some concerns about the movement of citizens between municipalities. There would only be a recommendation, and not an obligation, to limit travel in the text.
Then we move towards closing gyms, theaters and cinemas, wellness centers and spas.
The activities of games rooms, betting rooms, bingo halls and casinos are also suspended.
The teaching activity for the first cycle of education (infant, primary and secondary) will continue to develop in presence. High schools will adopt distance learning with an increase of 75%. Therefore 25% in presence throughout the national territory, thus trying to homogenize regional ordinances.
It may be possible to close to the public, after 9 pm, streets or squares where people can gather, without prejudice to the possibility of access and exit to legitimate businesses and private homes.
The text also recommends not traveling by public or private means of transport, except for reasons of work, study, health, situations of need or to carry out activities or use non-suspended services.
