Two municipalities in the province of Caserta become a red zone, Marcianise and Orta di Atella, where in recent weeks the increase in Covid infections has been exponential, with increases of 448% and 800 percent respectively. The president of the Campania Region, Vincenzo De Luca, has just signed the relative ordinance, valid until November 4, which excludes the industrial area of Marcianise away from the urban area. It is forbidden to enter or leave the two municipalities, except for health operators or basic needs. There is a prohibition on leaving their homes, except for the needs to supply basic goods and services. Public offices and shops closed except for food and personal products, bars and closed restaurants that can only carry out delivery activities. The entire population, he continues, will be subjected to a massive examination, with carpet swabs. The duration of the measure is limited and is linked to the evolution of the phenomenon.
