It’s an open battle over the new dpcm between Conte and the governors. The latter are opposed to closure restaurants and discos at 18, as required by the draft prepared by Conte and the ministers and also ask that from now on tampons they only undergo patients with symptoms, which would drastically decrease the number of positives. The requests are contained in a letter (click here to view the PDF) sent by the conference president of Regions, Emilia Governor Stefano Bonaccini to Prime Minister.

The observations in black and white are summarized below: extension of the didactic things 100% distance for high schools and universities (the government stopped at 75%); allocate tampons to symptomatic patients and close relatives “to make the work of the ASL / Regions sustainable in times of emergency, reducing the workload due to difficulties in locating contacts”; foresee the closing time of restaurants at 11 pm and bars at 8 pm with table service only (the government wanted a stop at 6 pm); keep ski resorts open; foresee the closure of shopping centers on weekends, with the exception of food and pharmaceutical products. Finally, the letter asks “to evaluate the closures related to: gyms, swimming pools, sports centers, cinemas, theaters, etc., also evaluating the epidemiological reference data”, thus avoiding a general shutdown throughout the national territory.
