Covid infections continue to increase in Italy: according to the Health Ministry bulletin, the increase in the last 24 hours is 19,143, identified with 182,032 swabs, the highest number since the start of the emergency. The total number of infected people, including victims and those cured, stands at 484,869. On the other hand, the increase in victims is decreasing, 91 in one day (yesterday there were 136) with which the total exceeds 37 thousand (37,059)

Regarding individual regions, peak of new cases in Lombardy (+4916), 2,280 in Campania, 2,032 in Piedmont. There are 56 new cases in Molise, the least infected region. The threshold of 1,000 admissions due to Covid in intensive care has been exceeded: according to data from the Ministry of Health there are 1,049 patients in resuscitation, 57 more than on Thursday, while in ordinary wards the hospitalized amounted to 10,549,855 more than yesterday.
