Registry of infections in the Marche region, 321 positives out of 1,707 swabs performed

Registry of positive cases of coronavirus in the Marks. The Health Service of the Region has reported that in the last 24 hours 3,776 swabs have been tested: 1,707 in the new diagnostic route and 2,069 in the cured route.

The new positives today are 321. The highest number since the start of the health emergency. Until now, the largest daily increase had been registered on March 21 when there were 268 new cases but with less than half of the tests (651). On the other hand, only once have more samples been taken than today: on October 13 there were 1,777. Of the 321 infections currently, 122 have been detected in the province of Macerata where the positives amount to 1,855, 76 in Ancona (2,646), 40 in Pesaro Urbino (3,371), 58 in Fermo (894), 23 in Ascoli Piceno (1,062) and two outside the region (364). These cases include 52 symptomatic contacts, 85 home contacts, 74 close contacts of positive cases, 12 cases in the work environment, eight contacts in the living / entertainment environment, four returns from abroad (Albania and Bangladesh), six cases detected in the care environment, 15 contacts in the school / training environment, 2 cases found in the screening carried out in the health sector and 63 cases that are in the verification phase. Yesterday the new positives were 226 with 1,486 tests. The contagions in Marche break the ceiling of 10 thousand: there are 10,192 with 171,050 swabs examined.
