In the last 24 hours, 15,199 people were infected (yesterday they were 10,874). 127 have died (yesterday 89). This is the highest number since the infection grew back. This was announced by the bulletin of the Ministry of Health. The manufactured buffers were 177,848. Intensive care has increased by 56 places nationwide, for a total of 926 occupied places. There are 603 more hospitalized with symptoms than on October 20. The proportion of new positives with respect to swabs performed is 8.5%.
Lombardy is driving the jump in cases, doubling them in 24 hours (+4,125), followed by Piedmont (1,799), Campania (1,760), Veneto (1,422) and Lazio (1,219). The only two regions with a double-digit increase are Molise (22) and Basilicata (85).
The total number of cases since the beginning of the pandemic amounts to 449,648. Those cured in 24 hours are 2,369 (yesterday 2,046), for a total of 257,374.
Strong increase in the number of positive people currently: there are 12,703 more (yesterday +8,736), and now there are 155,442. Of them, 145,459 are in home isolation, 12,044 more than yesterday.
