EPIDEMIOLOGICAL BULLETIN OF THE PUGLIA REGION

The president of the Puglia Region, Michele Emiliano, based on information from the director of the Department of Health Promotion, Vito Montanaro, reports that today, Monday, October 19, 2020 in Puglia, 2,446 tests for the infection have been registered and recorded for coronavirus Covid-19. 321 positive cases: 165 in the province of Bari, 24 in the province of Brindisi, 31 in the province of BAT, 63 in the province of Foggia, 20 in the province of Lecce, 13 in the province of Taranto, 2 residents outside of the region, 3 province of unknown residence.

4 deaths were recorded: 2 in the province of Foggia, 1 in the province of BAT, 1 in the province of Taranto.

Since the beginning of the emergency, 491,204 tests have been carried out.

5,604 are recovered patients.

5463 are currently positive cases.

The total of positive cases of Covid in Puglia is 11,706, divided as follows:

4,947 in the province of Bari;

1,091 in the province of Bat;

898 in the province of Brindisi;

2,759 in the province of Foggia;

960 in the province of Lecce;

957 in the province of Taranto;

87 attributed to residents outside the region;

7 province of unknown residence.

The APL prevention departments have activated all the procedures for the acquisition of anamnestic and epidemiological information, with the aim of tracking close contacts.
