The Prevention Department in consideration of the cases that have arisen in recent days in the provinces of Arezzo, Grosseto and Siena has intensified the activity of tracing close contacts. This activity has highlighted so far, 24 contacts for the Arezzo cases, 23 contacts for the Grosseto cases, 52 contacts for the Siena cases who have already been immediately placed in solitary confinement.
At this time, 4,847 people from the Local Health Authority of Southeast Tuscany are already in home isolation due to a known case contact or because they come from other countries.
The positives in charge are: 1,851 at home, 22 at the Intermediate Care facilities and 28 at the health hotel.
In Arezzo there are 50 hospitalized for infectious diseases and five in the intensive care unit. In Grosseto 14 hospitalized for infectious diseases and two in intensive care.
There are also 39 people who tested weakly positive on the first swab and are waiting for the second that might confirm positivity or not: 34 are from Arezzo, one extra ASL, three from Grosseto and one from Siena.
The identification of the cases and the tracing of the contacts was possible by performing 2,446 swabs.
