the new Dpcm With the new government’s measures tightening to deal with the coronavirus emergency, it is in force from today and will be until November 13: it is the last resort, perhaps, to avoid a generalized confinement. These are essentially three main novelties in the new Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers, the result of a debate with the Scientific Technical Committee and the Regions and of a long mediation between the different souls of the majority of the government. Are here:
- The first is that at 9 pm the streets and squares of the city can be temporarily closed to avoid dangerous concentrations;
- the second is the school’s flexible schedule (which remains open);
- the third are the places closed at midnight and from 6 pm without table service.
The 6-person rule at the restaurant table.
For restaurants and bars, therefore, the shutters should close from 12 to 5 (instead, it closes at 6 in the absence of table service). They cannot sit more than six people. The ban on carrying alcohol after 6pm has also been confirmed: it can only be consumed in places that have table service. With the new Dpcm, the ban on parking in front of public places after 9:00 p.m. remains in force. Home delivery is allowed until 12 noon, in compliance with hygiene and health regulations. The objective is to eliminate social gatherings, with the “nightlife” of places without table service the main culprit for the increase in infections in recent days.
The rule of 6 in the restaurant
Furthermore, the new Dpcm states that “It is mandatory for exhibitors to place a sign at the entrance of the venue indicating the maximum number of people admitted to the venue at the same time, in accordance with current protocols and guidelines”. From now on, therefore, before entering the restaurant we will read a notice at the entrance with the maximum capacity of diners in the room. And each table in a bar, restaurant or pizzeria can seat up to six people. Is the call “rule of 6”yeah registered mail by Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte for private dinners at home to avoid contagion between acquaintances and in the family and, from now on, a rule to be respected in the premises.
