It was published on Official bulletin The text of the new Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers (DPCM) with the measures decided by the government to try to stop the new increase in coronavirus cases and that will be in force from October 19 to November 13. The decree, announced by Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte on the night of October 18, establishes that mayors can close after 21 streets and squares where gatherings can be created, allowing access only to residents and those who carry out professional activities there.
All catering activities can remain open from 5 a.m. to 12 p.m., if consumption takes place at the tables: otherwise, only until 6 p.m., while home deliveries have no time limit. In restaurants, however, a maximum of 6 people per table is allowed and it is mandatory to place outside signs indicating the maximum capacity of the place. There is no limitation for restaurants within hospitals, airports and highways. The game and bingo rooms can remain open until 9:00 p.m.
As for the schools, activities continue in presence, but in secondary schools more flexible modalities will be favored, with entries at 9 in the morning and, if possible, in afternoon shifts. Universities, on the other hand, must be able to adapt to the evolution of the epidemiological situation, providing the possibility of distance education if necessary. The decree provides for the suspension of amateur sports competitions, prohibits local festivals and fairs (allowing only national and international fairs) and suspends conferences.
Not foreseen by the Prime Minister, but present in the decree, it is the obligation of the “health worker from the Prevention Department of the local health company, accessing the central Immuni system, to load the key code in the presence of a positive case”. Wednesday October 14 Messenger of the Veneto had reported that until then the Immuni app, developed by the government to help track contacts during the coronavirus epidemic, had not been fully operational in Veneto.
