Viterbo – Coronavirus, today 74 confirmed cases and nine recovered patients. These are the latest updates to ASL.
“The Belcolle Molecular Genetics section reported 74 confirmed cases of Covid-19 positivity – notify local health authorities – to the Coronavirus operational team of the Viterbo Local Health Authority at 11 am.
The latest positivity reports are linked to swabs made to citizens residing or domiciled in the following municipalities: 34 in Viterbo, 7 in Civita Castellana, 3 in Capodimonte, 3 in Montefiascone, 3 in Ischia di Castro, 2 in Vetralla, 2 in Farnese, 2 in Villa San Giovanni in Tuscia, 2 in Bassano Romano, 2 in Vejano, 2 in Capranica, 2 in Castel Sant’Elia, 1 in Vitorchiano, 1 in Fabrica di Roma, 1 in Soriano nel Cimino, 1 in Ronciglione, 1 in Tuscania, 1 in Sutri, 1 in Nepi, 1 in Caprarola, 1 in Bagnoregio and 1 in Tarquinia.
Of the current cases, 32 have an epidemiological link with previously established and already isolated cases, 31 are connected to swabs performed by symptomatology, 9 are connected to a swab performed after an antigen test, 1 is connected to a swab performed after a serological test and 1 is a swab performed for an access in a hospital setting. 69 are convalescing at home, 5 are currently hospitalized in the Belcolle infectious diseases department ”.
The Coronavirus operational team has activated prevention and protection measures, in order to contain the spread of the virus, strengthening the chain of close contacts, with the valuable collaboration of municipal administrations.
In total, at 11 this morning, the cases of positivity to Covid-19, resident or domiciled in Tuscia, amount to 1,206 of which 62 are the cases verified in extra Asl structures.
“Today the recovery from COVID-19 of 9 patients residing or domiciled in the following municipalities was communicated to the institutionally competent subjects: 3 in Viterbo, 2 in Civita Castellana, 2 in Ronciglione, 1 in Canepina, 1 in Villa San Giovanni in Tuscia.
At the moment, of the people reported positive for Coronavirus: 29 are hospitalized in the Infectious Diseases ward, 4 hospitalized in the Belcolle COVID Intensive Care Unit, 4 are hospitalized in an additional ASL health center, 571 are passing their convalescence at home. The number of negative people rises to 569, with 29 deaths, to which must be added the patient residing in Tuscia and who died in a hospital outside the province.
Since the start of the Covid emergency, 38,510 swabs have been made in the province of Viterbo, 530 in the last 24 hours. To date, 1,132 citizens are in fiduciary home isolation, 6,051 have concluded the isolation period.
The seroprevalence investigation initiated by the Lazio region continues in Tuscia. As of yesterday, the Belcolle and Civita Castellana analysis laboratories reported 9983 serological tests. Of these, 139 were successful, with a prevalence rate of 1.39%.
