He attends the first class of a lower secondary school in Lower Polesine (not the same school reported yesterday). During these hours, all ATA colleagues, teachers, and staff with whom he came in contact are swabbed. Tomorrow we will provide feedback on any positivity and isolations.
– 4 positivity detected by swabs at Lower Polesine High School, where positivity had emerged yesterday. It involves two teachers and two students. Tomorrow all teachers, ATA staff and students in the classes where the two positive teachers teach will be swabbed.
As for the swabs to fellow ATA teachers and staff from Rovigo Elementary School, where a positivity emerged yesterday, we still have no feedback. The tracks, in fact, are still running due to the logistics and traffic problems related to the passage of the Giro d’Italia. Tomorrow we will provide feedback on any positivity and isolations.
“I repeat what I said yesterday, the contagion chain has restarted. The average age of those infected is around 45 years; This data allows us to affirm that the contagion is mainly linked to the life of relationships and work. The contagion then spreads to the family level where it reaches school-age children; the school then becomes an amplification box. In this context, speed of action is essential; I have the Public Health and Sanitation Service and USCA to thank for the incredible work they are doing. Overall, we found more positivity than last March, but we have significantly fewer hospitalizations. Even today, however, the growth curve of infections in Polesine is the least steep of the rest of the Veneto provinces. This whole situation, which at this time forgives the elderly, must be maintained with everyone’s commitment and compliance with the usual prevention regulations. We must not forget that the virus moves and infects people and that to break the chain the only effective weapons we have are prevention: use of masks, distance, avoid meetings and maintain adequate hand hygiene “- says the CEO, Antonio Compostella.
