Covid, in Piedmont for all business activities from midnight to 5 except pharmacies

Since October 18, the Piedmont Region has ordered the nightly closure of all retail business activities, from midnight to 5 in the morning, without prejudice to the activity of pharmacies. This is foreseen by an ordinance, signed today by the president of the Piedmont Region Alberto Cirio, which realigns the provisions for the containment of Covid in the regional territory at the Dpcm of October 13.

The ordinance, in force until November 13, provides for the prohibition of the sale of alcohol after 9 pm in all commercial activities, excluding table service in catering establishments. Instead, restaurants will be required to keep a daily record of the attendance and contacts of all restaurant customers using table service.

The document also confirms the operation of the Crisis Unit, which, with immediate effect, will resume its activity 24 hours a day until January 31, 2021. Its operations center will be in via Silvio Pellico 19, in Turin, also headquarters of the Dirmei, the Intercompany Diseases and Infectious Emergencies Department.

Finally, there is an obligation for all residential social welfare structures to register on the Covid monitoring platform and periodically upload their data update (out of more than 700 structures, only 500 currently use the platform).
