Florence, October 15, 2020 – Patient visits are suspended in all hospitals from ASL Toscana Centro. It will happen starting from Friday October 16. The rise in coronavirus infections has restricted visits from abroad. Which, as the ASL itself reports, can only occur in specific cases.

In these particular cases, access is allowed after evaluation and agreement between the directors of the facilities and the nursing coordinators who will report it in the patient’s health documentation ”.
Family members will be informed by telephone by the ward staff about their relative’s situation. Caregivers of people who must perform a health service are not allowed, except for minors, disabled or not self-sufficient and people with linguistic-cultural barriers. In these cases, the assistant’s access will be reported in the patient’s health documentation.
