The reason is in the provision issued yesterday by the mayor, the prefectural commissioner Maria Pia De Rosa, which imposed the closure of the municipal term after the increase in infections by coronavirus: 200 positives, which meant the blocking of all activities. The blockade had been requested by the ASL and launched by the Naples Prefecture after consulting with the prefectural commission (the commissioner has been in Arzano since February 2019). The provisions provide for the closure of all stores, with the exception of those of basic necessities, but there are no restrictions on the movement of individual citizens. Schools and the cemetery are also closed and all public demonstrations and events, the weekly market, sports activities and senior centers are suspended. The ordinance, number 36 published late in the afternoon today, takes effect from midnight yesterday, October 14 and will be in effect until October 23 inclusive.
