11 new positivity from Polesine residents (there are a total of 724 Polesine residents with COVID-19 positivity found since the beginning of the epidemic):

– Woman from 1938, resident in Medio Polesine, presented compatible symptoms and was hospitalized in Infectious Diseases in Rovigo. An epidemiological investigation is underway to reconstruct the contacts.

– Girl from 2017, resident of Medio Polesine, is a close contact of a person who tested positive. It is asymptomatic. He was absent for a long time, so there is no need to act at the school level.

– Donna born in 1990, residing in Medio Polesine, is a health social worker at a health facility outside the region. The positivity emerged during the installation’s periodic screening. She was placed in isolation and is asymptomatic.

– Woman from 1985, resident of Upper Polesine, had a private swab and tested positive. The epidemiological investigation is ongoing.

– Man from 1977, resident in Upper Polesine, is a close contact of a person who tested positive outside the Region. He was placed in solitary confinement and asymptomatic.

– Man from 1969, resident in Rovigo, is a close contact of a person who has tested positive. He was already isolated and asymptomatic.

– A 1973 woman, resident of Lower Polesine, performed an access swab at a health facility outside the region where she accompanied a relative. She was placed in isolation and is asymptomatic.

A 2009 Lower Polesine resident child performed an access swab at a health facility outside the region for a hospitalization not related to COVID-19. He was placed in solitary confinement and asymptomatic. He attends the first grade of a lower secondary school in Lower Polesine. Comrades, staff, and faculty were vetted by the USCA this morning. At the end of this activity, the positivity of 3 colleagues emerged. Class, staff, and teachers were placed in home isolation according to protocols.

As for the swabs made yesterday, to colleagues, staff and professors of a Higher Institute of Rovigo, where a positive professor had emerged, all were negative. For this reason, according to the protocols, no isolation has been activated.

ADMISSIONS

There are currently 14 inpatients at our Covid-19 facility, in particular:

9 patients in the Covid Medical Area in Trecenta (a patient transferred from Infectious Diseases from Rovigo)

2 patients in Covid Intensive Care in Trecenta

3 patient in Infectious Diseases in Rovigo

EXTRA HOSPITAL RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURES

An operator from the Taglio di Po housing community and a non-sanitary worker from the “Villa Resemini” Service Center for the Elderly in Stienta are positive.

In all other Non-Hospital Residential Structures in Polesine, no positive results were reported either among guests or among operators.

Swabs

The swabs made since the beginning of the epidemic, in Polesine, are 105,724. The people subjected to swabs number 37,938.

Cure

The total number of cured in Polesine since the beginning of the epidemic remains stable at 562. 113 people are currently positive in the province.

To date, 492 people have been placed in home isolation with active surveillance.
