1,080 new cases in Lombardy, infections in the province of Brescia

The data that emerges from these first weeks of autumn, about the Covid emergency, is that the most critical situations seem to have moved from Brescia and Bergamo to Milan, Monza and Varese: it is in these three provinces where in fact more than 68 are concentrated , 5% of total Lombard infections in the last 24 hours (741 out of 1,080: 440 in Milan, 180 in Monza, 121 in Varese).

In total, 17,186 smears were processed, of which 1,080 were positive, equivalent to 6.2%: in the other provinces there were 61 cases in Como, 46 ​​in Mantua, 43 in Lecco, 40 in Bergamo, 35 in Brescia, 34 in Pavia, 10 in Lodi and Sondrio. The number of admissions is increasing: 95 new admissions to the hospital, of which 83 are in good condition and 12 in intensive care (total hospitalized, to date: 608, of which 62 in serious condition).

There are 6 deaths in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 16,994. The province of Brescia, for now, is holding out: perhaps already hit hard by the first wave, more aware of the risks and partly already equipped with antibodies. But it is too early to know what will happen: meanwhile, the new Dpcm is operational throughout Italy, with limitations for nightlife, sports and events.

These are the municipalities of Bresciano where new infections have been registered in the last 24 hours: 9 in the city of Brescia, 3 in Gardone Valtrompia, 2 in Bedizzole, Prevalle and Darfo Boario Terme -where both cases would be school- and 1 new positive in Acquafredda, Carpenedolo, Castelmella, Cellatica, Esine, Gianico, Leno, Marcheno, Montichiari, Muscoline, Palazzolo sull’Oglio, Pozzolengo, Roncadelle, Sarezzo, Vestone, Villa Carcina and Vobarno. With about ten cases in a couple of days, Valsabbia is one of the “specially observed” areas: throughout the province there are already more than a thousand “currently positive” ones.
