GROSSETO – The new Dpcm has been issued – the Decree of the President of the Council of Ministers – valid for the next 30 days in which the anti-Covid rules that will be adopted to try to limit contagion throughout the national territory have been inserted.
The document, signed by the premier Giuseppe Conte and by the minister of health Roberto Speranza, confirms many of the hypotheses formulated in recent days about the behavior to be performed in public but also in private moments. These are the main points.
Mandatory outdoor masks – Masks, respiratory protection devices, are mandatory indoors except in private homes (but it is recommended in the presence of people who do not live together) and also in all outdoor places. The exceptions refer to those cases in which the isolation of people who do not live together is permanently guaranteed. Children under 6 years of age, those who practice sports and those with pathologies and disabilities incompatible with the use of the mask are excluded from the obligation.
Low Quarantine and Single Buffer – Asymptomatic positives “can re-enter the community after a period of isolation of at least ten days from the onset of positivity, at the end of which a negative molecular test is performed.” So the mandatory quarantine is reduced by five days and just one swab will be enough to leave the house. This is a provision that appears in the circular of the Ministry of Health.
Private parties – No to private parties, limits to nightlife and ceremonies: a ban on private parties indoors or outdoors has been established. There is also a strong recommendation not to host more than six people, family or friends, in the house for dinners or dates, outside partners.
Bars and restaurants – As for public places, restaurants and bars may close at midnight, but after 9:00 p.m. it will be forbidden to consume standing up: from that time it is possible to serve at both indoor and outdoor tables. However, dance halls and discos remain closed.
Ceremonies – Ceremonies, like weddings, must respect a maximum limit of 30 guests. Religious celebrations will continue to comply with current regulations, therefore with spaced seats, masks and sanitation.
Sport: facilities, stadiums and halls – The presence of the public in sports competitions is expected up to a maximum filling percentage of 15% of the total capacity, but for a maximum of 1000 spectators outdoors and 200 indoors. However, the autonomous regions and provinces can establish a different maximum number of spectators depending on the different facilities, according to the Ministry of Health.
Sport: contact disciplines – The dpcm prohibits the practice of contact sports, such as soccer and basketball, with friends. On the other hand, the activity of sports clubs capable of providing a security protocol will be allowed.
Cinemas and theaters – The limit of 200 people indoors and 1000 outdoors for shows has been confirmed, with the restriction of one meter between one place and another: meetings are prohibited. Regarding sporting events, the autonomous regions and provinces can establish a different maximum number, in accordance with the Ministry of Health.
No to school trips – With regard to the school world, classes will be taught in person but educational trips, guided tours and student trips are suspended.
