Have arrived: iPhone 12 e 12 Pro Max are the Apple’s new top of the range, presented during the event on October 13. Prices from 1000 euros, triple camera with LiDAR scanner, 5G connectivity and improved battery: these are the characteristics of the new iPhone 12 in Pro version, ready to debut on the market in early November.
What changes compared to the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Mini? A lot: these are the high-end versions of the new iPhone line. Exactly as it has been happening for several years, Apple has been distinguishing its models between entry level and top of the range, entrusting this task for 2020 and 2021 to the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max.

iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max: Features, Camera, and Specifications
The two top-of-the-range models measure respectively 6.1 inch for iPhone 12 Pro me 6.7 inch for iPhone 12 Pro Max and mount next-generation OLED screens, with glass reinforced by a special technology called Ceramic Shield. There is no frame rate at 120HZ, as many had predicted, but we are satisfied.
The front and back materials are tempered glass, the edges slightly square and the chipset is based on the latest generation A14.
In the back we find the triple camera with the same asset already seen in iPhone 11 Pro / 11 Pro Max, consisting of wide angle, ultra wide angle and telephoto lenses that will have a focal length of 52mm and an optical zoom of up to 4x. These are joined by the performance of the LiDAR scanner for augmented reality.
All models will have a memory cutout that will start at 128GB (the much criticized 64 are definitely abandoned) and then increased to 256 and 512 GB. Present 5G connectivity. The new iPhone 12 and 12 Pro Max will be available in four colors: graphite, silver, gold and blue.
iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max: prices and availability
The launch of the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max is positioned in November 2020. Models will be available to pre-order the last week of October (for the iPhone 12 Pro that comes out on October 23, while the iPhone 12 Pro Max will launch November 6) and you can count on the following price list:
- iPhone 12 Pro (6.1 inch): 1,189 euros (128 GB), 1,309 euros (256 GB) e 1,539 euros (512 GB);
- iPhone 12 Pro Max (6,7 pollici) a 1,289 euros (128 GB), 1,409 euros (256 GB) e 1,639 euros (512 GB).
