Viterbo – 65 confirmed cases of Covid-19 positivity were reported by the Molecular Genetics section of Belcolle to the Coronavirus operational team of the Viterbo ASL at 11 am.
Four other cases of Covid-19 positivity were reported by non-ASL health establishments, for a total of 69. These are the latest data provided by ASL.
“The latest positivity reports, known to the local health authorities, are related to swabs performed on citizens who reside or have domicile in the following municipalities: 28 in Viterbo, 6 in Civita Castellana, 5 in Sutri, 4 in Corchiano, 4 in Vetralla, 3 in Caprarola, 3 in Capranica, 2 in Tuscania, 2 in Ronciglione, 1 in Castel Sant’Elia, 1 in Canepina, 1 in Soriano nel Cimino, 1 in Oriolo Romano, 1 in Vasanello, 1 in Tarquinia, 1 in Vitorchiano, 1 in Farnese, 1 in Vignanello, 1 in Ischia di Castro, 1 in Acquapendente and 1 in Nepi.
Of the current cases, 21 have an epidemiological link with previously verified and already isolated cases, 40 are connected to swabs performed by symptomatology, 4 are connected to swabs performed after a post-serological examination, 3 are connected to swabs performed after a test antigenic, 1 is connected to a preventive swab performed to access an Asl facility. 64 are convalescing at home, 5 are currently hospitalized in the Belcolle infectious diseases ward ”.
The Coronavirus operational team has activated prevention and protection measures, in order to contain the spread of the virus, strengthening the chain of close contacts, with the valuable collaboration of municipal administrations.
In total, at 11 this morning, the cases of positivity to Covid-19, resident or domiciled in Tuscia, amount to 988 of which 53 are the cases verified in extra Asl structures.
Today, the institutionally competent subjects were notified of the recovery from Covid-19 of 4 patients, having received the report of negativity regarding two swabs performed consecutively within a few days.
“The negative people – they continue by ASL – are residents or domiciled in the following municipalities: 1 in Viterbo, 1 in Villa San Giovanni in Tuscia, 1 in Bassano in Teverina and 1 in Blerto.
At the moment, of the people reported positive for Coronavirus: 20 are hospitalized in the infectious disease ward, 3 are hospitalized in an additional ASL health center, 393 are spending their convalescence at home. The number of negative people rises to 544, 28 are the deceased, to which must be added the patient resident in Tuscia and who died in a hospital outside the province.
Since the start of the Covid emergency, 36,715 swabs have been made in the province of Viterbo, 423 in the last 24 hours. To date, 850 citizens are in fiduciary home isolation, and 5,880 have concluded the isolation period. “
