The contagion curve in Basilicata remains stable. There are 8 new positive cases detected among the 1201 swabs processed yesterday, October 12.
Two people died: they are two elderly people, guests of the Marsicovetere and Brienza nursing homes, hospitalized in Potenza due to complications from their health condition.
The positive cases are distributed as follows: 2 Brienza, 1 Roccanova who is currently admitted to emergency medicine in Potenza, 1 Potenza, but with residence in Marsicovetere, 2 Sant’Arcangelo, 1 Venosa, 1 Picerno domiciled in Paterno.
60% of yesterday’s 1201 swabs were tested in private labs.
Yesterday 4 people were healed: 1 resident in Rapolla, 1 resident in Melfi, 1 foreigner in isolation in Latronico and 1 resident in Matera.
There are 401 currently positive Lucanians (398 in the last update, to which 8 positive from residents are added and 3 cures and 2 deaths are subtracted) and of these 369 are in home isolation.
There are 34 hospitalized in Lucanian hospitals.
