The new positives of Coronavirus, in 24 hours, touch the three hundred units in Sicily again: today there were 298 and there are also three dead (70 years in Trapani, 83 years in Catania and 56 years in Caltanissetta). This is reported in the bulletin of the Ministry of Health, in which the three deaths reported today were not counted, namely the wives in Mezzojuso and the municipal employee in Mazara del Vallo. There are currently 4,682 cases on our island: 404 people hospitalized, 42 in intensive care (+4 compared to yesterday) and 4,236 in home isolation. The healed amounted to 4,751 (+194 in the last 24 hours). The swabs performed were 3,892. In total, 9,592 people have been infected since the start of the pandemic.
Regarding the division between provinces, there are 109 new cases in Palermo, 71 in Catania, 60 in Messina, 29 in Syracuse, 13 in Ragusa, 8 in Caltanissetta, 4 in Enna, 3 in Trapani and 1 in Agrigento.
In Italy there were another 4,619 cases of coronavirus (yesterday they were 5,456) of the 85,442 swabs made (yesterday they were almost 105 thousand). In the last 24 hours there have been 39 deaths, bringing the total death toll since the start of the pandemic to 36,205. On the other hand, 891 were cured. The Region with the highest number of new infections was Lombardy (696).
