CORONAVIRUS, ALL THE NEWS LIVE
The new Dpcm restrictions on Covid-19 could soon be approved. At this moment, a discussion is taking place between the Government, the Presidents of the Region and the representatives of the other local authorities to define the issue. In the new text, the concept of ‘amateur’ sport will be inserted, which must stop, while the activity of the amateur and youth sector could continue. Therefore, there should not be a total blockade of the sport, with federal activities and promotional bodies excluded from the ban.
What does that mean? If a sporting match or event falls within the scope of activities organized by sporting associations affiliated with a federation or institution, there should be no problems. If private citizens want to practice a sport (soccer, basketball, etc.) by reserving a court with a sports club, they will not be able to do so.
