The specter of the “red zone” is increasingly looming over the Galati Mamertino community following the results of molecular swabs performed on Friday that caused the total number of tested positives to jump to 69, with 47 additional positivity that were added to the 22 already verified until Saturday.
“We are in contact with the extraordinary commissioner for the emergency Carmelo Crisicelli and with the regional councilor for health Ruggero Razza to evaluate all the necessary measures,” said Deputy Mayor Vincenzo Amadore. However, for the initiation of the red zone declaration request, which is the responsibility of the President of the Region, it really seems to be only a matter of hours.
Late at night, Mayor Nino Baglio signed the ordinance that adds strict rules that include “the limitation of access and expulsion from the municipal area for all residents and other subjects, if not for strictly indispensable reasons, for proven needs. work and for the entry and exit of food, health products, essential goods and services ”.
