Covid and quarantine: home isolation without disease
In the case of home quarantine of the worker, the disease is not triggered automatically. The clarification comes from a note from the INPS that amounts to a kind of tightening of the quarantine rules: new rules that mark a limit with respect to what was established by Cura Italia, the decree-law of March 17, 2020, which instead equated quarantine with the disease.
In case again emergency shutdown by Covid emergency that prevent people from doing their job,isolation at home in fact, it will not automatically equate to disease. The Inps made it clear: in all cases of ordinances or provisions of administrative authorities that effectively prevent people from carrying out their work activities, the recognition of the protection of quarantine with the disease provided by Cura Italia as it provides for a provision of the public health operator.
