A new outbreak broke out in Monte di Procida (Naples) after a wedding party in which 200 guests participated. In the last hours, 13 cases of coronavirus have been registered, all related to the event held earlier in the week in a room in the nearby municipality of Bacoli. After the first citizens who showed symptoms of the virus, Mayor Giuseppe Pugliese, aware of the massive participation in the party, last Friday imposed several restrictions on the municipal term, closing schools, public and private parks, gambling halls, betting centers and clubs for the elderly, in addition to prohibiting competitive and amateur sports activities, with the intention of curbing the spread of the infection.
