Taking into account the cases that have emerged in recent days in the provinces of Arezzo, Grosseto and Siena, the Prevention Department has intensified the follow-up of close contacts. This activity has highlighted so far, 61 contacts for the Arezzo cases, 0 contacts for the Grosseto cases, 30 contacts for the Siena cases that have already been immediately placed in solitary confinement.
At this time, 3,557 people from the Local Health Authority of Southeast Tuscany are already in home isolation, either because of a known contact or because they come from other countries. The positives in charge are 974. There are 9 hospitalized for infectious diseases and 1 in intensive care at the Misericordia hospital in Grosseto, 28 in infectious diseases and 4 in intensive care at the San Donato hospital in Arezzo. The identification of the cases and the tracing of the contacts was possible by performing 3,359 swabs.
