It all started with the complaint to the police of a company of Cisano which produces sports climbing equipment. In the Marketplace section of Facebook, the company has noticed advertisements containing products of its production, put up for sale on the web without any authorization. This is a material that the company does not sell to individuals, but to companies in the sector. Also defective and potentially dangerous material for buyers.

Once they found the identity of the advertiser, the carabinieri from the Cisano Bergamasco commando came to his home. During the search they found the material in question: carabiners, hammers and climbing ropes. They also found out who had provided it: an employee of the company whom the military visited and confiscated a large quantity of material, stolen from warehouses. As they learned, waste material with manufacturing defects on which they tried to make the shield: at least 300 carabiners, dozens of climbing hammers and equipment of various kinds.

The first, a 21-year-old young man, was denounced for receiving stolen goods; the second, 27, for aggravated theft. The company has also initiated a dismissal procedure against him.

The researcher excludes that what led to the identification of the authors was an isolated episode. Reason that is leading the police to investigate further, looking for all the material sold.
