Coronavirus, 233 new cases of Covid-19 in Sicily: +77 in the Etna province

There are a total of 233 new cases of Covid-19 registered in the last 24 hours in Sicily, where the total number of current positives reaches 3,901. Those cured increased, 24 more than yesterday (4,478 since the beginning of the emergency) and also the victims, four in one day and 333 in total. The data is contained in the daily bulletin of the Ministry of Health. The swabs processed on the island in one day were 7,151, while of the current positives only 376 are people hospitalized with symptoms and 35 in intensive care. In contrast, 3,490 people are in home isolation. This is the provincial distribution of the new cases on the island: 85 in Palermo, 77 in Catania, 22 in Messina, 7 in Trapani, 11 in Syracuse, 15 in Ragusa, 12 in Agrigento and 4 in Caltanissetta. There are no new cases in the province of Enna.
