Of the 926 swabs processed yesterday, October 8, the positives found are 36, of these 14 are people from Puglia who made the swab in a private laboratory in Matera, therefore, the positive Lucanians are 22.
The positive aspects found concern: 14 people residing in Puglia and there in isolation, 13 people residing in Matera, 5 people residing in Brienza, 1 person residing in Muro Lucano, 1 person residing in Rionero in Vulture, 1 person who resides in Marsicovetere which is in the Maricovetere retirement home, 1 person residing in Policoro.
The contacts of the San Carlo doctor, suspected of contagion, are all negative.
On the same day, 3 people recovered: 1 resident in Lazio in isolation in Potenza, 1 resident in Pisticci and 1 resident in Maratea.
There are currently 351 positive Lucanians (331 in the last update, to which the positives of 22 residents are added and 2 resident recoveries are subtracted) and of these 318 are in home isolation.
There are 35 hospitalized in Lucanian hospitals: in Potenza 18 people, including 1 recovered awaiting discharge, are hospitalized in the Infectious Diseases ward, 11 people in the Pulmonology ward and 1 in the San Charles Emergency Medicine ward; in Matera, 5 people, including a recovered one awaiting discharge, are in the infectious diseases department of the ‘Madonna delle Grazie’ hospital.
