REGGIO EMILIA – In light of the new ministerial provisions in reference to the Covid-19 epidemic, the administration is working on a draft ordinance valid throughout the municipal term.

Provides the obligation to wear a mask even outdoors, always and in any case in the historic center. (with the exception of authorized extensions of bars, restaurants and shops), at the entrance of schools of all levels, at the bus stops, from trains and various means of public transportation, including taxi stands and NCC. The draft, having heard the opinion of the health authorities, will be agreed with the prefecture and with the police and, once the Cosp has shared and approved it in its final form, the ordinance will be issued.

Excluded, even in the Reggio area, from these obligations: subjects who carry out sports activities; children under the age of six; subjects with pathologies or disabilities incompatible with the use of the mask, as well as those who, to interact with the above, find themselves in the same incompatibility.

The situation will be constantly monitored in order to evaluate the application of the ordinance also to other public places potentially at risk of overcrowding.
