The State Police arrested the accomplices of the robbery perpetrated on October 14, 2019 against an employee of a tobacconist in Reggio Calabria

The facts go back to Oct 14, 2019 when, at around 09:30 a.m., the collaborator of a Reggio Calabria tobacconist informed the Operations Room of the Police Headquarters that he had been the victim of an armed robbery in the course of which the criminals had stolen a bag containing documents bank accounts and the collection of the business year that had to be paid to the bank, equivalent to approximately 17,000 euros.
The investigations – carried out under the directives of the Prosecutor Vicar Gerardo Dominijanni and the Deputy Prosecutor Alessandro Moffa – revealed that Oberto Alessandro Mirandoli and Antonio Scaramozzino had carried out an inspection inside and outside the premises before the money was taken by the unfortunate that After getting into his own car, he was blocked by a car and a scooter with two misrepresented subjects in motorcycle helmets, one of whom was identified in Marcello Passalacqua as the driver. The other subject, who got out of the vehicle under the threat of a weapon, seized the purse with the money and then disappeared into the surrounding streets.
In the immediacy of the events, the Flying Squad investigators began an articulated investigation aimed at finding the perpetrators of the robbery. In a short time, thanks to in-depth knowledge of the area and the first results obtained by viewing the images from a video surveillance system, they identified the car used to block the victim.
During search activities for the driver of the vehicle (Vitetta) and the person who was with him (Scaramozzino), part of the money and bank documents were found.
