248 positive cases in one day

The president of the Puglia region, Michele Emiliano, based on information from the director of the Department of Health Promotion, Vito Montanaro, reports that today, Thursday, October 8, 2020 in Puglia, 4,754 tests have been registered and carried out for Covid-19 coronavirus infection. 248 positive cases were registered: 175 in the province of Bari, 15 in the province of BAT, 3 in the province of Brindisi, 27 in the province of Foggia, 10 in the province of Lecce, 17 in the province of Taranto, 1 resident outside the region.
1 death was recorded in the province of Taranto.

Since the beginning of the emergency, 440,278 tests have been carried out.
4929 are recovered patients.
3334 are currently positive cases.

The total number of positive Covid cases in Puglia is 8,867, divided as follows:

• 3,600 in the province of Bari;
• 799 in the province of Bat;
• 789 in the province of Brindisi;
• 2121 in the province of Foggia;
• 849 in the province of Lecce;
• 643 in the province of Taranto;
• 64 attributed to residents outside the region;
• 2 province of unknown residence.

Asl’s Prevention Departments have activated all the procedures for the acquisition of anamnestic and epidemiological information, with the aim of tracing close contacts.
