The schools
The schools remain under special surveillance. Schools, thanks to prevention measures, are not the cause of infections but the place where the virus is unfortunately striking. Two cases of Coronavirus positivity were recorded, one in a primary school class and the other in a childhood section of the Leopardi Integral Institute in Grottammare. The use of rapid antigen tests is able to ensure an accelerated diagnosis of Covid-19 cases, allowing a timely differential diagnosis in suspected cases between influenza syndrome and SARS-CoV2 disease, unlike molecular tests for which the results the useful time interval is longer. The use of rapid antigen tests, while considering the possible limitations in the characteristics of the test, could also speed up the diagnosis of suspected cases in schools.
