Another upturn in positive cases in the Covid-19 of our province: yesterday the ASL of Latina made 49 of them official in a single day by examining, as usual in its daily report, the data relating to the previous 24 hours and therefore to contagions on Monday. It is the highest figure at the territorial level since the beginning of the emergency after the absolute record of 73 announced on Sunday by the ASL itself, in reference to Saturday’s data. On Monday, however, there was a decrease, with 22 cases, also due to minor swabs carried out on Sunday, which saw the capital’s drive-in movie theater active until 2:00 p.m.
The fact is that we are now going from an average of 20 daily cases, which characterized the month of September (it closed at 447 positives), to an average that has yet to be deciphered. In this month of October, however, precisely by virtue of the two considerable “peaks”, we have already reached 219 in just six days. Of the 49 new cases, 20 were registered in the capital (there were 25 of the 73 in the registry), followed by 9 from Cisterna, 4 from Terracina, 3 from Aprilia, Pontinia and Minturno, 2 from Itri and 1 for Cori, Priverno, Fondi, Formia and Gaeta. The big picture shows 1,440 cases; 25.03 prevalence (the number of people who tested positive for every 10,000 inhabitants); 669 cured; 39 deceased; 732 positives, of which 642 attended at home (the number of Pontines admitted to hospitals rises to 90).
