Before talking about the new Dpcm, with a first strengthening of the measures, the minister illustrated the number of infected in the world, which has exceeded 35 million and the number of deaths, which exceed one million. There is a real worsening phase, he said, recalling that the Italian data has been growing for nine weeks. There is no longer, he recalled, “a dynamic of territoriality” of the virus, which initially had strongly affected the North, starting with Lombardy and Veneto. Meanwhile, our testing capacity is getting stronger: we have passed 120 thousand tests per day.
