In fact, not all cases are reported, we have many difficulties in gathering information from the Regions and Local Health Authorities. Each is understood. There are no official accountants, there are only private shares, and not only in Italy: the same is also true abroad. But this is a work that, although it cannot reach all cases of positivity, helps to give an idea of the trend of infections: we are in the 70 schools involved every day‘.

More than 3 out of 4 cases refer to students, while, on average, only one case in 10 (11%) refers to a teacher. For now, there are 87 outbreaks and at least 131 schools have decided to close for security measures.
According to experts, we will have to wait until mid-October to see what the effect of the reopening of the schools: the positive cases could be many more. Based on this data, we will try to understand if the anti-Covid measures adopted in schools are working or if, instead, it will be necessary to intervene. Meanwhile, according to ‘Il Messaggero’, the high school they have decided to move the lessons over the distance as required by the guidelines.
Rome, situation already ‘out of control’

Mario Rusconi, president ANP Lazio, speaks of a situation that is already out of control: ‘In these conditions we cannot protect students and teachers. From the moment of news of a positive case, it takes hours and even days to obtain information on who to quarantine. And we have no indications for the identification of people considered direct contacts ”.
