Juve-Napoli can put an end to the championship: the postponement would be a precedent that would make it impossible to finish in time for the Europeans

But according to Lega Calcio, the ASL does not prevent Napoli from leaving and playing: the communication from the local health company mentions circular no. 21463 of the Ministry of Health, that of the protocol, which allows to continue playing negative subjects. The intransigence of the League is not just a matter of principle. But it is a premature speech: the League and the majority of clubs (perhaps not all) still want to save the season.

There are less than 12 hours to convince the Azzurri to report to Turin and avoid the worst. Not even the regulation is entirely clear: just two days ago the League approved the rule that provides for 0-3 at the table for anyone who has at least 13 available members and does not appear on the field, but also in the text It says “without prejudice to any provisions of state or local authorities.” Like the ASL of Naples: if the sports judge decreed defeat at the table, Napoli would appeal to this clause and it would surely end up in court. For this reason, even interventions from above cannot be excluded. Of the FederCalcio, who seems concerned and has not said anything so far: but the verification of the regular development of the championships is his competence. Or even the government: the ball that plays, despite an outbreak (in Genoa) and increasingly positive for Italy, is a message that has never been liked by several executive ministers.
