More than 6 thousand swabs and 182 new cases of coronavirus in Sicily. According to the latest bulletin issued by the Ministry of Health, in the last 24 hours there were three deaths on the island (317 in total) and another 19 hospitalizations of people with some symptoms. The number of subjects in home isolation increased from 2,724 to 2,829 (+105) and the number of patients recovered and discharged from 4,052 to 4,108 (+56).
The victims are two women from Trapani aged 90 and 81, who died in Palermo hospitals, and an 87-year-old man from Catania. According to the subdivision by province, there are 52 new cases in Palermo (including 2 migrants), 42 in Catania, 28 in Trapani, 26 in Caltanissetta, 11 in Messina, 10 in Syracuse, 8 in Ragusa, 4 in Agrigento and 1 in Enna. .
The number of patients in intensive care is almost stable, going from 21 to 20. In total in Sicily, from the beginning of the pandemic until today, 502,672 swabs were made, which allowed detecting a total of 7,596 cases of contagion. The total current positives on the island is 3,171 people. Nearly 5,000 cases identified as suspected diagnostic, 2,665 in lieu of screening activities.
