It was he himself who appeared at the trial, after seeing the news of the search for volunteers on a news program. After medical visits and blood tests, it was determined that he was fit: on September 23, he was given the injection in Verona. Since then, he has kept a diary, in which he records his body temperature and possible side effects, and will undergo medical checks (he has already done 8).

A total of 45 healthy volunteers between the ages of 18 and 55, including Pierluigi, and another 45 between the ages of 65 and 85, are testing the Grad-Cov2 vaccine; there are still places available for this last group. Around the world, 126 different experiments are being carried out – a race against time in view of the next (possible, but probable) waves of the pandemic, sadly also in Europe.
