It reads in Mayor Barbieri’s ordinance:

PROVISIONS: There is an obligation throughout the territory of the municipality of Piacenza to use respiratory protection devices even in outdoor places throughout the day, without prejudice to the provisions of the specific sector protocols in force. The respiratory tract protection instruments consist of masks, also disposable, washable or self-made, correctly placed, which have characteristics such as being able to completely cover the mouth and nose and provide an adequate protective barrier;

EXEMPTIONS: Without prejudice to respect for social distancing, the following are exempt from the obligations specified in point 1: • children under 6 years of age; • people with disabilities or certified pathologies not compatible with the continuous use of respiratory protection; • Those who perform sports or physical activities outdoors, provided that the interpersonal safety distance of at least two meters is respected for the practice of sports and at least one meter for physical activity. • Subjects identified in specific protocols.

Mayor’s ordinance

Yesterday, October 1, seven new cases of Coronavirus were discovered in our province, five of which were related to people with symptoms. No deaths were recorded in the entire region, while there were 103 new infections, for a total of 35,414.
