Viterbo – We receive and publish – Seven confirmed cases of Covid-19 positivity were communicated, at 11 am, by the Molecular Genetics section of Belcolle to the Coronavirus Operational Team of the ASL of Viterbo.

The latest positive reports are linked to swabs performed on citizens residing or domiciled in the following municipalities: three in Ronciglione, two in Orte, one in Viterbo and one in Calcata.

Of today’s cases, four have an epidemiological link to previously verified cases, one is linked to a swab performed on a symptomatic citizen, and two are citizens returning from Albania. They all spend their convalescence in their own homes.

The Coronavirus operational team has activated prevention and protection measures, in order to contain the spread of the virus, strengthening the chain of close contacts, with the valuable collaboration of municipal administrations.

In total, at 11 this morning, the cases of positivity to Covid-19, resident or domiciled in Tuscia, amount to 653 of which 40 are the cases verified in extra Asl structures.

Today the Covid-19 recovery of five patients was communicated to the institutionally competent subjects, having received the report of negativity with respect to two swabs performed consecutively a few days later.

The negative people are residents or domiciled in the following municipalities: three in Viterbo, one in Ronciglione and one in Civita Castellana.

At the moment, seven people who have tested positive for coronavirus are hospitalized in the infectious disease department, two are hospitalized in an additional ASL health center and 102 are convalescing at home. The number of negative people rises to 514, 28 are the deceased, to which must be added the patient resident in Tuscia and who died in a hospital outside the province.

Since the beginning of the Covid emergency, 29,157 swabs have been made in the province of Viterbo, 335 in the last 24 hours. To date, 387 citizens are in fiduciary home isolation, while 5,000 494 have completed the isolation period.

The seroprevalence investigation initiated by the Lazio region continues in Tuscia. As of yesterday the analysis laboratories of Belcolle and Civita Castellana reported 9,608 serological tests. Of these, 137 were successful, with a prevalence rate of 1.42%.
