Coronavirus, bulletin of September 30: in Sicily the growth of infections does not stop, today 170 cases and one victim

There is still a boom in positive cases of coronavirus in Sicily: 170 new infections in the last 24 hours, even more than the 163 registered yesterday. Unfortunately, the number of victims is also increasing: in total, 311 people have died since the start of the pandemic, the last in Palermo.

The total number of Covid-19 cases registered on the island amounts to 7118, the current positives are instead 2866. Compared to yesterday, another 90 were recovered, for a total of 3,941. Hospitals continue to fill up: 301 (+8) patients are hospitalized under the ordinary regime while 19 are in intensive care, three more than yesterday. Finally, there are 2,546 positive people in home isolation.

This is the subdivision by province of the new infected: 74 in Palermo, 33 in Syracuse (29 are soldiers from the Margottini ship), 17 in Caltanissetta, Catania and Trapani, 7 in Messina, 4 in Agrigento and 1 in Enna. There are no new cases in the province of Ragusa.

New coronavirus infections in Italy continue to grow: 1,851 new cases today, compared to 1,648 yesterday, but with many more swabs, 105,564 compared to 90,185 that were tested yesterday. The total number of positive cases amounts to 314,861. Deaths decreased, 19 today (24 yesterday), for a total of 35,894. This is what emerges from the daily bulletin of the Ministry of Health.

The most cured are 1,198 (yesterday 1,316) and now they are 227,704. The region with the most cases today is Campania (+287), followed by Lazio (+210) and Lombardy (+201), the same situation as yesterday. There is no region with zero infections, the ones that are better are Valle d’Aosta and Molise with six new cases.

The positives currently also increased (+633 compared to 307 yesterday) for a total of 51,263. Decrease of an admissions unit under the ordinary regime: 3,047, when yesterday a +71 was registered, while intensive care units increase by 9 units (yesterday 7)and there are 280. Finally, 47,936 people are in home isolation (625 more than yesterday).
