Covid: from June 4 regions with an increase between 80 and 150% – Health

The lethality of Covid-19 has been reduced: if almost 15 out of every hundred patients died until June, today about 12. But coronavirus infections are strong growth especially in the Central-South regions, with Sardinia, Campania, Lazio and Sicily, which from June 16 to September 24, show an increase in positives equal to + 154.2%, + 140.7%, + 90.8% and + 83.8% respectively .

Numbers that “suggest that the phase we are experiencing does not seem to have the same characteristics as the previous one.” This is what arises from the update of the data related to the Covid-19 emergency of the National Health Observatory coordinated by Walter Ricciardi, professor of Hygiene at the Catholic University of Rome and by Alessandro Solipaca, scientific director of the Observatory.
