There are 1,648 new cases of positivity to the coronavirus on September 29, 0.52% more than the previous day. The total number of infections, since the beginning of the epidemic, amounts to 313,011. Deaths in the last 24 hours are 24 and bring the global figure for the pandemic to 35,875 units (+ 0.06%). At the moment, those currently positive in Italy are 50,630 (+ 0.61%). Of these, 3,048 hospitalized patients (+ 2.38%) and 271 intensive care patients (+ 2.65%). The day-to-day cures are then 1,316 (+ 0.58%). This is the table that emerges from the daily data of the Ministry of Health, processed from 90,158 swabs made, compared to 51,109 the day before.

Campania continues to lead in new infections

At the top of the ranking of regions for new infections is Campania again, where in the last 24 hours 286 positives were registered and two people died. The figure is the result of 6,335 swabs performed. It is followed by Lazio with 219 cases, then Lombardy (203), Sicily (163) and Veneto (140). More distanced Piedmont (100 cases), Emilia Romagna (97), Liguria (89) and Sardinia (82).

Veneto, another 140 positives

There are 140 new cases of contagion in Veneto in the last 24 hours and the total amounts to 27,296. This was revealed by the Regional Bulletin that reports one death, with a total of 2,177. The data on home isolation jumped 657 subjects, with a total of 9,268, of which 2,445 were positive. In hospitals, the situation remains stable, with 213 hospitalized (+8) in non-critical wards, of which 167 positive, and 27 in intensive care (figure unchanged).

Puglia, still 76 cases

In Puglia 4,131 swabs were processed for Covid-19 infection and 76 positive cases were recorded: 24 in the province of Bari, 2 in the province of Brindisi, 6 in Bat, 37 in the province of Foggia, one in the province of Lecce, 6 in the province of Taranto. No deaths were recorded. Since the beginning of the emergency, 404,787 tests have been carried out. 4,622 patients are cured, 2,433 currently positive cases of which 224 are hospitalized and 0.6% of these are in intensive care. The total number of positive Covid cases in Puglia is 7,687.

In Tuscany there are 56 new positivities

In Tuscany there are 14,707 cases of coronavirus positivity, 56 more than on Monday (+ 0.4%), with an average age of 38 years and, in terms of clinical states, 74% were asymptomatic, 11% pauci -symptomatic. 77 were cured and reached 10,175 (69.2% of all cases). The swabs performed reached 732,780, 4,731 more than the previous day. Current positives are 3,368, -0.7% from Monday. There are 117 hospitalized (2 more than in the previous 24 hours) of which 20 are in intensive care (2 less). There are 4 new deaths: 2 men and 2 women with an average age of 77.5 years. In general, 3,251 people are isolated at home, as they have mild symptoms that do not require hospital care or do not have symptoms (27 less than yesterday, less 0.8%). There are 6,951 (403 more than Monday, plus 6.2%) people, also isolated, on active surveillance.
