“Move the extraordinary competition with what perspectives?” This is the question that the senator of the 5 Star Movement, Bianca Laura Granato, during a live broadcast on Orizzonte Scuola TV, asked the director of the Pd school, Camilla Sgambato, who proposed to advance the test of the extraordinary competition near of the Christmas holidays. .

Do we wait for infections to increase and then postpone testing in the spring? And then the responsibility for all these postponements will fall on Minister Azzolina?”, Adds the senator.

Were they (Pd ed) – attack Garnet – wanting to postpone the fall test to avoid the computer-based test in August. Moving the evidence again seems like a joke“. Further, “If the tests had been carried out in August, in September we would have had more teachers hired with a permanent contract. There will be the retroactivity of the appointment, but now we find ourselves with precarious teachers and lack of services. Is it always Azzolina’s fault?”.

Regarding the problem of teachers who have to carry out the contest but are in quarantine, Granato specifies: “At the moment there is no possibility of complementary tests, not only for school competitions. And then the extraordinary will be followed by the ordinary and the precarious will have another chance. They don’t miss the train, they just miss a trip”.

The senator, despite the confrontation, excludes that there may be consequences for the parliamentary majority: “There can be no implications, because the agreements had already been made. IS – adds – It is not possible for the Democratic Party to wake up every three months and change its mind just to gain consensus in the school world. We want the good of the public school, the Democratic Party while the public school is buried, on the other hand they ask for subsidies and aid for equality. The truth – Points – is that they want to bury the state school”.

Regarding the errors of the new provincial substitute rankings, Granato believes that they must be contextualized and that “the system works as it is easy to trace the cause of the error and solve it”.

Finally, the senator addresses the issue of the five-year restriction, with a premise: “We can’t reverse the trend and move students from north to south”.

The problem, according to Granato, “It is linked to the fact that the northern rankings are the least saturated and then teachers return to the south with provisional assignments, and it is this system that hurts. The students – Points – they have the same rights throughout Italy and the school system must function well throughout Italy ”.

Granato then proposes to face the situation from “An adequate salary”. “We have to pay teachers in a totally different way, all battles must focus on this”, explain, but “If you can’t afford to live in the north, you stay in the south and wait for a job in the south: for now there is no other solution”.
