Then a police patrol intervened to block them. “But this is what happens in commercial places every day and millions of workers remain exposed to the risk of contagion and the possibility of aggression by the deniers of the pandemic. There is no more time – continues Iacovone – workers’ complaints are now daily and the risk of contagion, added to that of aggression, must be contained by the institutions of this country ”. The two people without a mask would have initially left the supermarket. Then the return to the room, armed with cats, threatening to threaten the employee. Punching, kicking, shopping baskets fly.
“The rhetoric of the heroes, those of the front line during the confinement, does not serve to work in peace – continues the union representative – but rather that quotas are needed at the entrance, masks and strict controls. In addition to the health crisis, we are facing a real public order problem that must be vigorously addressed by the Government, through the competent Ministers and Prefects ”, concludes Iacovone.
