Cuneo’s employee (Camilla Sismondo, 26) was found dead recently, missing since Saturday afternoon in the mountains of Limone, in the area of Rocca dell’Abisso (2,755 meters above sea level). The searches involved dozens of firefighters, mountain rescuers, financial police, dog teams, helicopters and drones. The dog that was with her also died. According to the first reconstructions, it would have sunk into a hundred meter crevasse, losing his life on the spot. When the fog fell, he probably wouldn’t have realized there was a cliff next to the road. It happened in the Rocca dell’Abisso, about 2400 meters above sea level: it fell from the winter road that connects the Rocca with Limonetto.
The recovery of the body has already begun, with the use of a helicopter “Drago 55” of the fire brigade.
The deceased young woman graduated in Economic and Business Sciences, Marketing and Strategy in Cuneo.
