There are 1,766 new cases of coronavirus registered in Italy in the last 24 hours and 17 deaths, bringing the total of victims to 35,835.
In the last 24 hours, 87,714 swabs were made, for a total of 11,087,064 since the start of the emergency. So we read in the bulletin of the Ministry of Health and Civil Protection on Sunday, September 27.
The total discharged / cured is 224,417, while the current positives are 49,618. To date, there are 2,846 hospitalized with symptoms, of these 254 are in intensive care, while 46,518 people are in home isolation.
The Region where the highest number of new cases has been recorded in the last 24 hours is Campania (245), followed by Lombardy (216), Lazio (181), Veneto (159), Sardinia (139), Piedmont (132).
