If we take into account that it is only at the beginning of the school year, the situation alerts the experts who have always reiterated that the increase in cases was foreseeable with the return of children to classrooms.

The most affected regions are Lombardy, Emilia Romagna, Tuscany and Lazio: in Rome there are about twenty schools involved, in Bologna about fifteen, in Milan there are 13. In these regions the covid has affected 76% of students and 13% teachers . Here is the map of the most affected regions.
In Trentino Alto Adige Several cases were found in some schools in Bolzano, while the Gandhi Institute in Merano, where five positive students were found, was closed for 15 days. In the classrooms of the other institutes where individual cases have been presented, sanitation was carried out, preventive quarantines that returned the students to distance education.

A case of Covid-19 was recorded in Falcone and Borsellino secondary schools and two infections were identified in the Fratelli Bandiera institute, in the Piazza Bologna area of Rome. A student at the Leonardo da Vinci secondary school in Maccarese, in the municipality of Fiumicino, was also positive. While the secondary school of the De Merode institute, also in Rome, was closed until October 1 after a case of positivity among students.
In Calabria, in Cosenza, a kindergarten teacher tested positive for covid, so for 30 children and their families the obligation of swabs was triggered. In Pugliaon the other hand, many schools have postponed the opening until October 1 to allow the sanitation of the rooms.
Worrying situation also in Sicily, where hospitals begin to accuse the increase in infections. In Palermo, 6 kindergartens have already been closed due to contagion cases and closures have also been registered in the province.
